Brothers Hernan and Eugenio Prieto Soto run Villa Clabelina, a 22 hectare farm which operates within the specialty forward-thinking group the Coffee Growers Association. Their goal is not only exceptional quality, but also the elevation of social concerns, environmental regard, and sustainability to the fore. The brothers believe that "coffee is an experience, a feeling". Villa Clabelina was planted more than fifty years ago, and the brothers have enlisted the help of Juan Saldarriaga to improve their picking practices and processing facilities. New and improved rooms have been built for drying coffee in a precisely controlled fashion as well as the ability to also process in the honey and natural fashion.
This particular lot is one of three we are offering this year from Villa Clabelina. A lovely and clean washed coffee, Prieto Soto is brighter and softer compared our Finca Clabelina offering.
